Concerts

One of the most memorable concerts is the one I recently attended at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. The concerts included orchestras and vocal groups from high schools in the U.S. and Canada. Brush High School of Lyndhurst, Ohio, participated in this wonderful series under the direction of an incredible teacher, Mrs. Lydia Prontiv.

The students were most professional and the music was wonderful. My nephew, Andrew participated in the Brush orchestra and also in the Honors Orchestra.

After each incredible concert, I suggested to Andrew's mother, my sister, that we go to Cafe Mozart in NYC as her son, my nephew, had played Mozart.

I never expected to hear a concert such as I heard from this local high school that my nephew attends. Hillary Clinton had visited the school in her Ohio campaign and told the orchestra that they would have fun in NYC and so they did.

The memories are most precious to me. How I wish other members of my family could have attended this wonderful event. These kids love music. Their hard work and dedication was
noted by all who attended. I look forward to their next concert and hope to follow them wherever they play.
